Dragon Fly
(In Progress)

Dragon Fly is a project with Uncrewed Aircraft Systems that I have been leading a team of 20 other engineering students on. As the successor to Beetle, it will also be capable of vertical take off and landing, as well as horizontal flight, but it will have a larger and more flexible payload capacity. Dragon Fly is being designed to go to Aerial Evolution Association of Canada student competition held in Quebec, Canada, and Student Unmanned Air Systems competition held in Maryland, United States.
Beetle
2021-2022

Beetle is a quad plane that I helped design on Uncrewed Airsystems Systems for the Student Unmanned Aircraft Systems competition held in Maryland, United States. It features the ability to vertically land, take off and hover yet still has the capability of horizontal flight. For cargo it carried a rover which would be lowered via a winch and autonomously transport a water bottle to its predetermined location.
Laser Tripwire
2020

I designed and constructed a laser tripwire as the first step into the Arduino platform. It included a calibration phase, seven segment display, LED indicators and silent alarm in addition to its normal alarm. It was enclosed in a 3D printed box which was also my first steps into CAD and 3D printing.
FPV Drone
2020

As I became interested in drones, I set out to design and build my own FPV drone. I learned about the low level hardware that the drone comprised of as well as various trouble shooting techniques. I also became very familiar with the flight characteristics and how small design choices could impact the overall product.
